CoCoTree Technology is honoured to have participated in the Kaohsiung–ICLEI City-Business Accelerator (CiBiX) and to be named one of three winning teams alongside ARUP and PlanIT Geo.
The “Expanding Kaohsiung’s Green Lung” challenge focused on mapping, managing and expanding Kaohsiung’s urban forest while advancing urban greening, carbon sequestration, biodiversity and climate resilience.
CoCoTree uses AI and satellite image data to integrate urban canopy cover, climate risk and population data. This helps cities identify vulnerable areas, prioritise urban greening sites and track urban forest improvements over time. In this way, urban forests become not only visible green assets, but measurable and manageable natural assets.
CoCoTree’s “Greatest Transformative Impact” recognition highlights the value of data-driven urban forest management and nature-positive city development. We look forward to working with more cities and partners to bring practical urban forest solutions to life.
